Sustainability reports
Global and Bogotá-Region sustainability is a matter of great interest to us. To reach it means providing a supportive environment in which entrepreneurs can realize their dreams, companies are competitive and society is more prosperous.
To manage sustainability, we strengthen companies, the business environment and we promote shared value. Thus, companies will generate more profits; they will be competitive, sustainable and contribute more effectively to respond to major social, environmental and economic challenges of our city and the Region.
Sustainability Reports
The organizations that are part of the Global Compact of the United Nations undertake to comply with the ten principles and to publish an annual report called Sustainability Report or progress communication, which describes the various activities and actions carried out by companies in the economic, social and environmental spheres.
As an entity attached to this initiative and given its nature, the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá prepares the report biannually. In 2009 it produced its first Sustainability Report and from that date, the company has reported its sustainable management under methodological standards as the international Global Reporting Initiative (GRI4) and the principles of the Global Compact of the United Nations, the aforementioned parameters and the ISO 26000 guide.
