Any registration agency from Latin America and the Caribbean can apply to become a member of Asorlac, once they have complied with all requirements set for such purposes.

In order to be a member of the Association, the interested registrar must complete an application form that will be presented to the Executive Committee for its approval. This organism will authorise the membership by the majority of votes from its members.

Applications forms for affiliation must be send directly to the secretary of the association and they must:

• Fill out the application form.
• Make a description of the petitioning entity, its responsibilities and duties as well as a description of the resgistries being managed.
• Be approved by the Executive Committee.

Membership and contribution have not been determined yet and they shall be free until the General Assembly meeting.

Specifying what is stated in the statutes and membership form of the association about a possible cost of Asorlac's membership, it is important to clarify that there is no fee in becoming a member. Joining and being a permanent member carries no cost, untill the totality of members at the general assembly approve otherwise. It should be noted that every authority that becomes a new member will have a place at the General Assembly and thus, will have power to decide on this matter.
